Just as the world had then come to a place of hopelessness, and the One who would fulfill all their hopes came into their midst, so the world today is again facing a time when despair is spreading widely across the earth.  Hopelessness is rampant and, in this time, God is moving to bring to fulfillment all the prophetic words concerning the coming of His Son again into the world to establish His kingdom.

How long?

How close?

Who knows?

But what God has done in history, He will do again as we rapidly approach the end of "the silence of God".

The 400 Years Between the Old and New Testaments

New Testament Survey

New Testament Survey

New Testament Survey is a continuation of the Old Testament Survey I and II courses offering students a general overview of themes, perspectives, and significance of every book in the Holy Canon. This third section will cover the entire New Testament, with a concentration on developing the books' particular message to the believer today—the believer upon whom the ends of the age have come.  Upon completion of this three-part course, the student should have more than just a passing familiarity with the context and purpose of each portion of Scripture.  Registered students must listen to all audio lessons on this teaching and take a Final Exam in order to receive transcript credit.  This course is valued at two (2) transcript credits for registered/paid students.

You may desire to download the textbook (170 pages)
to aid you in your studies.

This course brings the Old and New Testaments together in a unique and captivating way to help you understand how all parts of God's Word fit together.

God gave us His Word to bring us to maturity - to become like Christ (Eph. 4:11-13). The Old Testament points to Christ and prepares our hearts to receive Him as Savior and Lord; the New Testament is designed to set forth Christ as the answer to the needs of our lives. This course takes us - book by book - through the Bible.

You will learn to view the Bible as a surprisingly accessible reference for Christ-like living and a life-changing expression of God's love.  The instructor masterfully integrates, cross-references, and connects each book of the Old and New Testaments so that you can understand and use the wisdom of the entire Bible. His entertaining stories and anecdotes bring biblical priciples to life and verify God's consistent involvement in human history, including yours. This course offers a panoramic overview of the entire Bible, providing a valuable context for personal understanding and an application of every book in the Old and New Testaments. Presents clearly and concisely the theme and lessons of each book.
