Family Wisdom

Shouting at your children to get cooperation is about the same as steering your car using the horn…same results.

To be in your child’s memories tomorrow one must be in their life today.

A home’s temperature is best maintained by warm hearts, not cold words or hot heads.

Any child can tell you that the sole purpose of a middle name is so that he or she can tell when they are really in trouble.

Your children may outgrow your lap…but never your heart.

God gave you two ears and only one mouth so that you may listen twice as much as you speak.

The only true child experts are those that do not yet have any of their own.

Cleaning house with children at home is like shoveling snow during a blizzard.

There are only two things that your child is absolutely willing to share: flu germs and your true age.

Remember this saying? "When you grow up and have children of your own, I hope that they are JUST LIKE YOU."  Wow!  How prophetic was that!

Constructing a Godly Home

Constructing a Godly Home

Constructing a Godly Home is an in-depth, two-part study of the family unit taught by two separate instructors, covering everything from marriage to parenting.  Few things are under such fire and attack as the home, but God meant for our homes to be safe havens and a smaller version of "Heaven on Earth".  The Bible has a great deal to say about our individual roles and responsibilities within the home.  Find out how to build yours on the firm foundation of the Word of God and how to not only enjoy your home, but to deal appropriately & lovingly with differences and difficulties within it. Registered/paid students must listen to all audio lessons and complete a Final Exam in order to receive one (1) transcript credit.
